California Capital Airshow  The California Capital Airshow is coming up this weekend at Mather Field. Today on Insight, we’ll talk with a unique stunt pilot who’s flown over 1000 performances – despite being paralyzed from the waist down.

Ride for Ataxia  This weekend, a special bicycle ride leaves the state capital bound for Las Vegas. They're riding to raise awareness for Friedreich’s Ataxia, a rare neuromuscular disorder. We talk with a rider, and some of the researchers trying to find a cure.

Kiyo Sato  Sacramento author Kiyo Sato wrote the story of her family's search for the American dream in the memoir Dandelion Through the Crack. The Sacramento County Historical Society will honor Sato with an award of excellence later this month. (This segment originally aired August 27th, 2007.)

Kiyo Sato will speak at this year's Sacramento International Film Festival. Passing Poston, about the internment camp in Arizona where Sato and her family spent much of the war, is being screened at the festival. Sato is featured in the film, and will answer questions after the screening.
