"American Shaolin"/Butterscotch returns/Fireplace follow-up


"American Shaolin"  Award-winning travel writer Matthew Polly is speaking in Sacramento this weekend. Today on Insight, Polly tells you about his book "American Shaolin" and what it was like to study kung fu with the monks in China.

Fireplace follow-up  In September, we talked about a new rule the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District was considering that would curtail Sacramento residents' use of wood-burning fireplaces on bad air days. Executive director of the district, Larry Greene, tells us about the fate of the regulation.
