"Koppel on Discovery: Breaking Point," a two-hour documentary that examines overcrowding in California's prison system through in-depth interviews with inmates, guards and prison officials at California State Prison Solano in Vacaville, airs at 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7th on Discovery Channel.

One Book Sacramento  Davis-based author John Lescroart's latest novel "The Suspect" has been chosen for this year's One Book Sacramento: Connecting Our Communities program put on by the Sacramento Public Library. Beginning today, One Book Sacramento asks everyone to read the same book and participate in numerous related literary events that will happen online and at library brances, schools and other venues in October. We'll talk with Lescroart about having his book chosen and you'll hear from library director Anne Marie Gold about the program.
