Tahoe fire update  On Tuesday, the Angora wildfire burning near South Lake Tahoe jumped a containment line into the area of Tallac Village. You'll hear from two men who were evacuated from their homes in Gardner Mountain. They were able to return to the neighborhood today to assess the damage.

Death penalty  A federal judge stopped executions in California last year, finding the state’s lethal injection process unconstitutional. Today on Insight, experts tell you why the process was considered cruel and unusual and you’ll learn how the state plans to execute criminals from now on.

Unclaimed assets  The State of California has habitually seized property from state residents that it considered unclaimed and deposited it into the state treasury. Last month, a federal judge ordered the stateto stop these seizures until it had vastly improved its efforts to find the rightful owners, citing the current process as unconstitutional.
