Robot competition A robotics competition is in full swing for high schoolers worldwide, from Brazil to Israel. Today on Insight, find out about the contest as well as the regional competition that’s taking place at UC Davis. You’ll meet a local organizer and participants, and learn why this competition is being embraced by the educational community worldwide.
The Davis/Sacramento Regional FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends late afternoon Friday, March 30th and Saturday, March 31st at the Activities and Recreation Center, University of California, Davis campus, One Shields Avenue, Davis. It's called "Art Explorations 101: Learning to Look." Hear what the Crocker's Director of Education has to say about the class and why Art 101 will help you enjoy whatever art museum you visit.
