Tahoe turbulence  There’s a new proposal to expand boat access at Lake Tahoe and it has environmentalists concerned. Next time on Insight, advocates of the proposal tell you why they want to add more piers and buoys to the lake and opponents tell you why it’s a bad idea.

Symphony search  The Modesto Symphony Orchestra as invited five conductors from around the country to audition for the Music Director position. Each will conduct the Modesto Symphony Orchestra for one Classics Concert and participate in a week-long residency with the opportunity to meet the various MSOA constituent groups.  Today meet Jose-Luis Novo, Music Director of the Binghamton Philharmonic & the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra.

José-Luis Novo conducts the Eroica Trio Fri - Sun at the Modesto High School Auditorium.  Please see the link below for times.   All performances will include a free lecture before the concert and a talk-back session immediately following. 

The public is invited to meet José-Luis Novo Wednesday, Jan. 10, 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. at Deva Café, 1202 J Street in Downtown Modesto.
