British Perspective/ Living Large/ Orchestral Report Card

British Perspective  Today you'll hear British parliament member Ann Cryer talk about human rights and the "special" British-American relationship.  Cryer will deliver lectures on these topics this week at University of the Pacific.  See the link below for details.

"Living Large"  Political campaigner and Washington lobbyist Michael Berman gives a candid first person account of life as an overweight man.  He's author of the book "LIVING LARGE: A Big Man’s Ideas on Weight, Success, and Acceptance."

Local Opera Winner  Five young singers have been selected as winners of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, following the grand finals concert on March 26 at the Met.  You'll meet one of the talented young winners and hear her sing: 28-year old Davis native Katherine Jolly.   See her picture below.
