The Guerrilla Girls / Emergence-See!

The Guerrilla Girls are an anonymous group of gorilla mask-wearing artists doing their part to reinvent the “F” word - feminism.  Host Jeffrey Callison speaks with Guerrilla Girl Frida Kahlo, in her gorilla mask, about sexism and racism in politics, the art world, film, and the culture at large.

The Guerrilla Girls host a discussion entitled “Bitches, Bimbos, and Ballbreakers” tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Sacramento State's University Union Ballroom.  Free.

Emergence-SEE!   What happens when a slave ship rises from the bottom of the Hudson River with the ghost of a 400 year old African Chief?  That's the premise of a one-man play coming to Elk Grove.  Jeffrey speaks with actor and playwright Daniel Boyd Beaty.
