A county spokeswoman says Yolo hasn’t been able to schedule any clinics before now because the state hadn’t sent over enough vaccines. Even now, the county only has around five-thousand doses available.

So the clinics are for high priority groups only: pregnant women, parents of children under six months of age, and kids and young people from six months to 24 years old.

The county hopes to schedule more clinics in the future – but won’t announce them until more vaccines arrive.
