Health officials stress that even though many people are eager to get the H1N1 shot…this first clinic at Hiram Johnson High School is for priority groups only. They include pregnant women, care takers of infants under the age of 6 months, health care workers, adults with chronic medical conditions and kids and young adults up to 24-years-old.

It’s expected that after Thanksgiving the general public will be eligible to get the shots. Sacramento County will hold more than 40 H1N1 flu shot clinics in the coming months and since the federal government paid for the vaccine production, they’ll be free to the public.
