Veterans Day Reflections of a Life in Flight

El Dorado Hills resident Doris Lockness became a pilot at age 29 in 1939. Since then she has logged ten thousand flying hours in planes and helicopters, including work in the Women Airforces Service Pilots program during World War 2.
