All of California’s Department of Motor Vehicles offices will be closed because of the state budget crisis.
Governor Schwarzenegger ordered DMV offices closed not only Friday, July 17th but next Friday, July 24th as well.
If your vehicle registration renewal date falls on either day, DMV officials say the penalties will be waived until the next business day.
They also say you can handle many transactions on their website.
