She’ll be the first woman to lead the Stockton campus. 

Eibeck is currently the dean of Texas Tech University’s Engineering School. She’ll be replacing Donald DeRosa who is retiring. 

Eibeck says she heard about the opening at UOP when her 17-year-old son became interested in the school’s engineering programs. 

Eibeck is 51-years-old. She earned her bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees at Stanford. Her career has included time as an engineering professor at UC Berkeley. She starts her new job in July.
