Former California Supreme Court Justice Joins Obama Team

A former California Supreme Court Justice is joining President-Elect Barack Obama’s transition team. Cruz Reynoso is the first latino to serve on the high court and he’ll be advising Senator Obama’s commission on civil rights. I recently spoke with Reynoso at his office at U-C Davis where he’s a law professor. Reynoso says he’s still in shock that he was tapped by the Obama team…

Cruz Reynoso was an associate justice with California Supreme Court from 1982 to 1987.   He’s now a professor emeritus of law at U-C Davis.   Reynoso has been selected to serve on President-elect Barack Obama’s transition team as an advisor on civil rights issues.
