The National Weather Service says some cities in the Sacramento Valley and Bay Area will see temperatures about 20-degrees above normal Friday and Saturday. Forecaster Chris Hintz says it’s all because of a high pressure system moving into the region.
“And as a result we’re looking at high temperatures in the valley in the upper 70s to lower 80s and that’s real close to what the record values are for this time of year.”
Hintz says the normal temperature for the Sacramento area this time of year is about 65 degrees. He says temperatures should start to cool down again by Monday…but there’s still no rain in the forecast for next week.
