An all time high— 17-point-three million Californians are registered to vote in Tuesday’s General Election. That’s according to California Secretary of State Debra Bowen.   More than one million have registered just since September 5th

The new tally includes data gathered through the close of registration on October 20th.  Right now there are nearly 747-thousand more voters than there were before the General Election four years ago.  However, the percentage of eligible voters is pretty close: It’s 74-point-six percent.  Back in 2004 it was 75-percent.
