The City Unified School District board last night picked Susan Miller to serve as interim superintendent for one year beginning July 1^st. Miller is an Associate Superintendent who has worked in the district’s central office for the past 12-years. She’s the second woman in the districts 150-plus year history to lead the city school system. The first woman…current Superintendent Maggie Mejia…is retiring this summer.
