The Bee obtained a draft of the agreement, though the newspaper has not made it public. The agreement bars all parties from discussing the matter publicly.  Johnson was 29 years old in 1996 when the incidents were alleged to have occurred.  The girl was 16.
 
In a statement, Johnson spokeswoman Christy Setzer says the Bee has refused to share the document with the campaign.  Setzer called the story “poorly handled” and said it’s based on “inaccurate information.”
