That’s what they’re doing Monday to protest deep budget cuts to higher education in California. They’re calling it a “study-in”.
Louise Hendrickson is one of the organizers.
"The reason we’re doing a study-in is to remember that we’re all students and we’re going into finals but it’s still very important to us to have this money restored because it affects the ability for tons of us to be able to stay in school."
Hendrickson says she expects several hundred students to take part in Monday's protest.
Last week, both CSU trustees and UC regents voted to raise student fees. But they say even with the increases, tuition in California is among the lowest in the country.
