Fargo has repeatedly pressured Johnson to debate, but Johnson’s campaign has accepted only two.  This is one of them, but it’s technically not even being called a debate.  It’s a “forum” at the California Museum, sponsored by the museum, the Sacramento Bee and News10.  Still, it’ll be the first time Fargo and Johnson will appear in a live broadcast event.

Johnson will have to show he can answer tough, detailed questions about policy issues like the budget and flood control.  Fargo will likely be challenged on her vision and leadership, which many of her critics say she lacks.

Joining the two on stage will be the five other candidates: Adam Daniel, Shawn Eldridge, Richard Jones, Leonard Padilla and Muriel Strand.
