According to a random survey of city residents by Sacramento State, 28% would vote to re-elect Fargo and 29% would choose Johnson.

Sac State pollster Amy Liu.

"What we also found out is that the race is really wide open because, for example, 41% cannot decide whether they’re going to vote for Fargo or whether they’re going to vote for Johnson."

Liu says when they asked residents which issues they considered most critical – the economy and taxes were at the top of the list.

The telephone survey of 380 Sacramento city residents was conducted between February 16th and March 2nd.
