So you’re heading out the door…on your way to vote…and then it hits you: “where is my polling place?” It should be printed on the back of your sample ballot.
But if you left home without it or show up at the wrong voting precinct, Secretary of State Debra Bowen says you can still cast your ballot at any polling place in your county.
"Anyone who gets to the polling place whose name is not on the rolls can vote provisionally and we sort out what the issues are behind the scenes later."
If you’re using a mail-in ballot, it’s too late to drop it in a mailbox. But elections officials say you can drop it off at a polling place. The polls stay open until 8 o’clock tonight.
