Young voters could play a big role in tomorrow’s election in California. Eighteen to 29 year olds make up one third of the state’s population, and they are expected to vote in record numbers this year. Placer County has cultivated the highest youth vote rate in the state. Jim McCauley, County Clerk/Recorder/Registrar of Voters for Placer County, explains why.
