Clinton (Bill) Campaigns in Sacramento
Former President Bill Clinton campaigned for his wife in Sacramento Monday as polls showed the state’s Democratic race tightening.

Clinton did not mention Barack Obama by name, but he did respond to an Obama quote – that this election is about the future, not the past.
Clinton: “Some people say, oh, well, that experience doesn’t matter, we don’t wanna go back to the 90’s. Well, I don’t know about you, but I think compared to this decade, what happened in California in the 1990’s looks pretty darn good.”
Clinton spoke at Cal Expo for 20 minutes to about 600 people. After the rally, Sacramento resident Tom Kendall sounded like a lot of California Democrats:
Kendall: “I support her because I know a little bit more about her than I do him, but the more I hear about him, the more I like.”
That could be why polls released over the weekend showed Hillary Clinton’s lead in California narrowing. A Field poll put Clinton at 36 percent and Obama at 34 percent – a statistical dead heat.
