The funeral is at 11am at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, on 11th and J Streets in Sacramento.  Authorities expect a huge crowd – including thousands of law enforcement personnel from throughout California and the Western U.S.  So they’re setting up a live video feed for the general public at the Sacramento Convention Center.

The public’s also invited to line up along the procession route, from the cathedral to East Lawn Memorial Park on Folsom Boulevard.

The funeral and procession will affect traffic throughout the day.

J Street will be closed between I-5 and 12th Street from 10:30 to 11am.  And expect heavy delays on N Street and Folsom Boulevard from 1:30 to 4pm.

You also won’t find any street parking around the cathedral, convention center, or State Capitol.  But downtown garages will be open.
