That’s because on Monday, someone overheard students discussing a threat to campus security and reported it to the school’s staff.
 
Sacramento Police Sgt. Matt Young spoke with KXJZ just before 7:30pm Monday. 
 
“We’ve done an investigation for approximately the last 4-to-5 hours, and at this time, with the witnesses we’ve contacted and the evidence we’ve uncovered, it doesn’t appear there’s any immediate threat to the campus.”
 
But Young says the investigation continues – and he’s asking anyone with information on this incident to contact the Sacramento P-D.
