$10 Flu Shots for "High-Risk" Sacramento County Residents
Center for Disease Control
It’s flu-shot time again. As winter approaches, Sacramento County is offering low-cost flu clinics geared especially towards seniors, kids under five, pregnant women and other “high-risk” people.

But the county’s immunization coordinator, Lynnan Svensson, says even if you’re not in one of those groups, you can still stop by.
“We will not refuse anybody service at our clinics for any reason. So while we’re advertising to seniors and people that are high-risk, we will not turn anybody away.”
High-risk people also include those with chronic medical conditions like diabetes or asthma – and those who live with them.
The clinic shots cost just $10; Svensson says private companies charge as much as three times that.
