The natural gas fired plant opened Tuesday. It will produce enough electricity to meet 40% of the city’s energy needs. Mayor Jim Gray says providing locally generated power will keep electric bills down for both residents…and businesses.

"The cost of electricity is a huge factor for a lot of businesses which look for these important features when they’re deciding to locate here."

Roseville Energy Park is located on Phillip Road. The $170 million facility is Roseville’s largest capital improvement project.
