As the Stockton Symphony's tubist, Douglas Hunt usually sits in the back, blowing rich notes of harmonic and rhythmic support for his fellow orchestra members. This week, Hunt takes a seat upfront to perform the Tuba Concerto by Vaughan Williams.

The Stockton Symphony performs the Bass Tuba Concerto in F minor by Ralph Vaughan Williams with Douglas Hunt as soloist on Thursday, October 11th at 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 13th at 6 p.m. in Atherton Auditorium on the Delta College Campus.

The program will also include works by Dvorak, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Tower.
