She’s backing an ordinance to restrict the use of playgrounds to kids under 12. Sheedy says she came up with the idea after strolling through Woodlake Park.

City Council members are scheduled to discuss the ordinance Tuesday night and vote on it next week. If it passes, the city may end up spending around $31,000 to install signs displaying the new rules.
