Solar Power Inc. has plans to become a national leader in solar installations, and a recent public offering injected millions of investment dollars into their plan. A store will open this month in Roseville, where it’s headquartered. Three more stores in the region will follow, with further stores likely in several states after a national franchise network is launched before year end. Solar Power manufactures its solar panels in China in its own factory, and hopes to install them in homes and commercial buildings across the country. Existing clients range from Marshall Hospital to the Auberge du Soleil resort in Napa Valley.
