Double Homicide Victims' Family Asks for Help
The Sacramento County Sheriffs Department continues to investigate Friday’s double-homicide that included the shooting of an 8-month-old baby. On Wednesday, the victims’ family went public asking for help from the community.

This does not happen very often.
“I just ask anybody, if you know anything that would help the detectives and the police, please, just anything, anything will help.”
Monique De La Cruz was the mother of the baby, Sean Aquitania, Jr. She stood with some 2-dozen other family members in front of all those reporters and cameras Wednesday at the Sacramento County Sheriffs Headquarters.
Undersheriff George Anderson says even though it’s hard to grieve in public, “They sense frustration as much as we do.”
And there is frustration. The lead homicide detective says two people at the home where the shootings occurred continue to not fully cooperate with investigators. The Sheriffs Department believes someone, somewhere, knows what happened. They -- and now the family -- are asking for help.
