Among the myriad measures passed by one house or the other:  A bill legalizing same-sex marriage, another requiring kids under age 9 to use car seats, and one okaying the import of kangaroo leather products.  They also approved outlawing lead ammunition in condor areas, and providing condoms to prisoners.

Many of the measures are on the way to the Governor’s desk for his signature – or veto.  Still to come: the thorny issue of healthcare reform.   Democratic legislative leaders continue to work on a deal with the Governor, amid talk of a possible ballot measure.
