Midtown wine bars have attracted a hip, young crowd … and that’s inspiring to three entrepreneurs who will open their winery on July 14th. Joe Genshlea Jr and his wife Gina, with winemaker Jason Fernandez, are converting a warehouse at 21st and P Streets into Revolution Wines. The trio plan to do everything, from grape crushing to wine tasting, on the premises. Fernandez has nine years experience as a winemaker, including stints with RH Phillips, Glen Ellen and Chalone Vineyard. So far they’ve invested about a quarter of a million dollars.
