Goethe School Renamed For Rosa Parks

Sacramento city school district officials have changed the name of Goethe Middle School to Rosa Parks Middle School.

The school board voted to make the switch Thursday.
Board members began looking for a new name after it was revealed that the school’s original namesake, Sacramento philanthropist Charles M. Goethe, was a white supremacist.
