Business Journal: Clover Valley's Future In Question
An area rich with Native American history is reaching a crucial point in its future.

Everyone agrees that Clover Valley in Rocklin is an unspoiled oasis of 620 acres, with ample evidence of its Native American inhabitants long ago. The owners, a consortium of builders, are offering to sell it to preservationists for $100 million. A fresh appraisal, coming soon, may validate or challenge that price. Meanwhile, what could be the final approvals to enable development could come this summer from Rocklin officials. The revised plans call for no more than 550 homes, far less than originally proposed. The Save Clover Valley coalition is hoping to find the necessary funding while the door is open.
