Catholic Healthcare West, Kaiser Permanente and Sutter Health have plans for more medical offices in Elk Grove. CHW  will open its second medical office this summer in Elk Grove, while Kaiser is looking for more space in one of  the nation’s fastest-growing city. Sutter Health plans to build a third and possibly a 60-bed hospital over the next several years in Elk Grove. The expansion of medical offices comes as Kaiser and CHW bid to provide Level II trauma care at their south Sacramento hospitals, just north of Elk Grove. Sacramento County will name the winner of the new trauma-center on July 24. The new center is expected to open in 2010. This is Ron Trujillo for the Business Journal.
