Ecostream is a company that provides sustainable energy systems, with a special focus on solar generation. The office will immediately be staffed by 15 engineering and executive staff. Part of a much larger Dutch corporation called Ecoconcern, it’s a Dutch-based company that was recruited to the region by the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization. A growing number of clean energy companies are springing up in the region or moving here, in part because the California legislature is at their doorstep, and Sacramento has become something of a hotspot nationally for the solar market.
