The U.S Government reports the top resolutions include losing weight, getting fit, quitting smoking, drinking less alcohol and reducing stress.
According to Rose Zahn of Healthy Habits Fitness Studio in Sacramento, one activity that can help with all of those is – yoga:

It strengthens the entire body, it teaches us how to breathe and how to move, it can be somewhat cardiovascular, and of course, the mind/body component, of quieting the mind, helping to focus the mind, really helps with stress management.

Zahn says it’s the quieting of the mind that helps with many resolutions, as it aids in cutting down on emotional eating, stress based smoking and drinking, and reducing tension in general.
