The injuries range from minor to moderate. The bus, carrying medical students and health workers, was headed to UC Davis Medical Center when it overturned. CHP Sergeant Evan Williams says they’re still trying to find out what happened.

"The original account was there was an unknown blue vehicle that made a lane change in front of the bus however investigators are trying to substantiate that and actually come to the correct conclusion of the cause of the crash."

The crash damaged about 60-feet of guard rail and caused a small fuel leak. Traffic entering Sacramento from the west was backed up for about six miles along Interstate 80.
