Propositions One-A through One-E were approved by voters… They include bond funding to repair levees, expand housing and build new roads.  Another bond to fund water projects was also voted in.

Voters overwhelmingly approved lifetime monitoring of certain sex offenders.  Two of the most expensive measures on the ballot--  a tax on cigarettes and on oil produced in the state were rejected. A parental notification measure regarding abortion was also turned down.

Voters also canned a parcel tax to fund education, public financing of campaigns and a complex measure to restrict government’s ability to seize private property.
