Sotiris Kolokotronis will be building 92 condo units on land he’s owned for years. Across the street stand apartments the developer just completed, which started taking tenants this month. This 7-story condo project in midtown will have luxury units ranging from $375,000 to over a million for the penthouses. Several other downtown condo projects began taking reservations long before breaking ground. Kolokotronis, owner of SKK Development, said he wanted to know all the issues before selling began. The city has a slew of condo projects on the boards, including high-rise towers. This is one that’s moving ahead, and without subsidies.
