Internationally-renowned painter Wayne Thiebaud has received plenty of accolades over his 86 years. The local resident will be honored musically with "Night Thoughts," composed by Andre Previn and commissioned by the Sacramento Philharmonic.

The Sacramento Philharmonic performs "Night Thoughts" on Saturday, October 14th at 8 p.m. at the Sacramento Community Center Theatre, and Sunday October 15th at 3 p.m. at the MondaviCenter in Davis.
