The DVD is being produced by Placer County officials, including Supervisor Jim Holmes.
"Anything we can do to make sure that young people particularly do not get involved in this terrible, terrible drug is going to be very helpful."
The DVD features testimonials from former meth users, law enforcement officers and local public officials, including Supervisor Holmes.
"I personally know two people that have lost daughters to methamphetamine so we put together a very effective DVD bringing to light the issue of methamphetamine use throughout Placer County."
Holmes says they’re putting the finishing touches on the DVD which will be distributed to schools throughout Placer County in September.
