A new study by Manpower Incorporated finds that almost half of the employers surveyed plan to add employees during the third quarter. Only 7 percent expect to trim their workforce. The balance anticipate no change.
Nationally, the Manpower survey shows less new hiring and far more companies making no change … and that’s true statewide as well. The strongest hiring activity is expected in Monterey, Kings County, and Visalia, where more than 60% of the companies surveyed said they’ll be hiring.
