Virtual Wall To Remember Vietnam Vets
For people who can't get to the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial, there is a “virtual wall” on the web, where relatives and friends of Vietnam vets can leave remembrances.

The Virtual Wall was founded by Jim Schueckler, a volunteer park ranger at the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Wall. On his website, www.virtualwall.org, friends and families can post pictures, poems, letters and remembrances of Vietnam vets who died in the war:
Most of them are very personalized. This is what I remember about my friend or my cousin or my brother.
Schueckler says people have connected via the Virtual Wall, for instance, a woman whose father was killed in the war managed to find his buddy who was with him the day he died.
