Don Roth is the new executive director of the performing arts complex at UC Davis. The announcement was made Thursday. Joe Martin with the Mondavi Center says audiences won’t see any significant changes.
"Mondavi Center programming is bigger than any one person. But in the long run certainly Don is going to have an impact on the direction we go and the things we do but that’s going to be filtered through a wide variety of other input."
Roth will take over on June 1st. He succeeds interim director Barbara Sellers-Young and former director Brian McCurdy who now heads the Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto.
