Primary election day is coming up soon – it’s Tuesday, June 6th.
And the Sacramento County Registrar of Voters still needs about 400 poll workers.
We are still looking for poll workers, we have a couple weeks left to go.
Registrar Jill LaVine says there are nearly 600 polling places in the county.  Four poll workers are needed to staff each place.
Poll workers hand out ballots, answer voter questions,  and help with any problems that arise.
Workers do get paid…up to 179 dollars for the day for the worker in charge.  Up to 125 dollars a day for the other three workers.
