Triple A has begun an aggressive education campaign to keep teens from driving drunk or recklessly.
Sean Comey, with Triple A, says the agency is stapling notes to 240 thousand prom tickets…informing teens of the cost of a DUI citation:

In order to get your prom ticket, you’ll have to look at that message about how expensive getting busted for drunk driving can be.
Triple A is also giving out DVD’s to allow teens to practice their driving skills on-line.
And the automobile club has pens and t-shirts with a slogan written by a high schooler, “There’s a reason another word for drunk is smashed.”
