Three dollars and 16 cents was the price in Sacramento earlier this week for regular gas -- a record for the city, according to Triple A.
But Sean Comey, with Triple A, says prices should come down around Memorial Day:
We’re seeing those wholesale prices for gasoline coming down, and eventually that should trickle down to the consumer.
In addition, refineries are finishing up their spring repairs, and should be increasing production soon, and that should help with supply and pricing.
